Love Is Indie Air

There are a few events slated this week.

First of all there's the ElectroLab gig at Esplanade. Here are the details as per Esplanade;

Goodnight Electric Indonesia 14 Dec 07 (Fri), Recital Studio 8pm (Opening Act: Elektone) 9pm (Main show: Goodnight Electric) 10pm (DJ set by B6 of IGO) "This smoking-hot indie dance outfit from Indonesia is on a mission to teach kids how to dance." - The Star Online With layered synth, electronic backbeats, tennis visors and matching sweatsuits, Goodnight Electric fuses elements from electro, pop and new wave, and delivers synth pop with tongue in cheek. Currently one of the most popular indie acts in Indonesia, the trio is Henry Foundation (vocals/programming), Bondi Goodboy (synth/vocals) and Oomleo (synth/vocals). Aside from having played at many of Indonesia's major music festivals, Goodnight Electric has earned accolades such as nominations for Best New Artist at MTV Indonesia Music Awards 2005 and Best Live PA at Paranoia Award Hard Rock FM Jakarta 2005. Hear them Goodnight Electric perform songs from popular albums, Love and Turbo Action (2004) and Electroduce Yourself (2007). Opening for Goodnight Electric is Singapore's trio, Elektone. So go and visit Culturepush if you're as big an idiot as I am and learn something for heaven's sake.
